Video: Fisher® EZ Control Valve E-body Actuator Orientation
Fisher 667 & 657 E-body Sliding Stem Globe Control Valves
Fisher® EZ Control Valve Actuator Help
Watch this video for step-by-step instructions to adjust E-body actuator orientation for a remanufactured Fisher 667 or 657 E-body sliding stem globe control valve.
Without following the proper procedure to change the orientation, it’s possible to end up damaging the seat and the plug. In this video we will demonstrate how to adjust E-body actuator orientation without damaging your valve.
- Raise the valve plug off the seat by applying air to the actuator
- Loosen up the Yoke Nut and turn the whole actuator 180 degrees
- Tighten back up the Yoke Nut
- Release the air to bring your valve plug back down to the seat
For a 657 Air to Close actuator, with air pressure released from the actuator, all you have to do is loosen up the Yoke Nut and turn it. Then tighten the Yoke Nut down again.
