Earth City, MO —- September 1, 2020
As of September 1, 2020, Automation Service has reached an agreement to purchase the Foxboro traditional pneumatic and electronic I/P models from Schneider Electric. This will ensure companies that depend on these products will continue to have access to the equipment they need to keep their operations running.
Automation Service is a long-standing and experienced remanufacturer of Foxboro process controls. Under the new agreement, the company is now also the sole manufacturer for new products in the following Foxboro lines:
- Foxboro Traditional 43AP Pneumatic Controllers
- Foxboro 13A Pneumatic Transmitters
- Foxboro E69 Current to Pneumatic Signal Converters
“Automation Service has been remanufacturing these products and others for over 60 years,” said Stan Carr, President of Automation Service. “We are excited and honored that Schneider Electric has chosen us to continue production of the 43AP, 13A, and E69 product lines. Companies around the world have come to rely on these quality products in their plants, and we look forward to answering the call when they have a need for new or remanufactured process controls.”
Automation Service will start transitioning the manufacturing of these products from Foxborough, MA, to its facility in Earth City, MO, starting on September 1. The transfer will be completed by December 31, with full production starting at the beginning of 2021.
