Automation Service Adds a Series of Electric Actuators to its Product Portfolio

November 11, 2014

Rotork Electric ActuatorsAutomation Service, a global leader in high-quality remanufactured process controls, now offers three series of Rotork® electric actuators which are compatible with its line of remanufactured control valves. The innovative new offering includes the IQ, CVA and CMA ranges of electric actuators, each with unique advantages to the competition.

“We’re very excited to introduce this line of new electric actuators that will compliment our existing line of remanufactured control valves,” said Wesley Rarick, President and CEO of Automation Service. “As advances are continually made in the industry, it’s important for Automation Service to be on the forefront of the technology. In partnering with Rotork, we can now offer electric actuation to those customers that need them..”

The IQ range features unique innovations which include a double-sealed enclosure, ‘non-intrusive’ infra-red commissioning, data-logging and predictive maintenance capabilities. Additionally the IQ range features the advanced display, Bluetooth® communications interface and absolute encoder.

The CVA range sets a new standard for process control and valve actuation. The actuators are designed for the exacting demands of process control, specifically continuous modulating control valve applications. The CVA range also offers a highly accurate and responsive method of automating control valves without the complexity and cost of pneumatic supply.

The CMA range delivers a series of sizes suitable for linear, quarter-turn and rotary control valve and pump applications requiring precise position control and continuous modulation. This range provides for simple and safe setup through an internal 6-segment LCD display and push button configuration.

“For more than 50 years, Rotork has been designing quality valve actuators, and we are excited to add these products to our current portfolio of products” added Mr. Rarick.
